LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY
The later bevelled rectangular plate within a scrolling flowering foliate frame, the pierced cresting vigorously carved with scrolling acanthus and plumes and centred with the goddess Juno with a peacock above a coat-of-arms with crescents within a cartouche surmounted by a count's coronet, flanked by a female figure and putto to her left and a male figure in armour to her right; the side elements possibly associated
77 ½ in. (197 cm.) high; 52 in. (132 cm.) wide
