Specialist note

The present Master Memovox is the rare 18K gold version of the iconic “Snowdrop” model launched in the1970s, distinguished by its round case.

It is thought that around 2’000 pieces of the model were made, however less than hundred in solid gold cases with integral gold bracelets, such as the present example.

The movement used was the new high beat caliber calibre 916 with frequency of 28’800 bph, replacing calibre 825 of earlier Memovox versions.

In 2016, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its alarm watch with an automatic movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre marked the occasion with an exclusive limited edition model, drawing inspiration from the 1970s Memovox “Snowdrop".
