With: Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch in 18K pink gold and dial with raised gold indexes in 1953 and its subsequent sale on 30 November 1954

Specialist note

This endangered species strap is shown for display purposes only and is not for sale. The watch will be supplied with a calf leather strap.

The present timepiece is an attractive “pink on pink” version of reference 2486, distinguished by the square case with stepped sides.

According to our researches, it is believed to be the only third example of this model in pink gold to appear in public to date. Consigned by a private collector it is furthermore fresh to the market.

Reference 2486
Reference 2486 was in production between 1950 and the mid-1950s and made in a small series only. It was mainly available in yellow gold, few examples were cased in pink gold.
