Specialist note

Launched in 1944, the legendary "Tri-Compax" is certainly one of Universal's most famous models. One of the most complex chronograph wristwatches of the period, the present watch features a triple calendar which displays the date as well as month and day in French as well as a chronograph function. The dial is well proportioned and attractive, housed in an attractive pink gold case, this example in excellent overall condition.
