Comprising a vase and a raised circular dish, each with red-scale ground and decorated with pierced roundels encircled by enamel flowering vines, the neck of the vase and centre of the dish each signed 'F. BARBEDIENNE', the underside of the dish with traces of inked inscription '44757'
The vase: 5 5/8 in. (10.5 cm.) high; 6 in. (15.2 cm.) diameter
The dish: 1 5/8 in. (4.2 cm.) high; 10 ¾ in. (27.5 cm.) diameter
