extensively inscribed in Dutch
brush and brown ink, brown wash, heightened with white, squared in black chalk, brown ink and red chalk framing lines
9 1/8 x 15 7/8 in. (23 x 40.5 cm); and two further drawings:
(ii) Flemish School, 17th Century, The Prodigal Son, pen and brown ink, grey wash, 8¼ x 10 1/8 in. (21 x 25.6 cm)
(iii) Flemish School, 17th Century, Noli Me Tangere: Christ the Gardener appearing to Mary Magdalene, point of the brush and grey wash, 6 1/8 x 8 3/8 in. (15.5 x 21.1 cm)
