Specialist note

Consigned by an important European private collector, the present wristwatch can be considered amongst the most collectible examples of the Day-Date model. Of incredible appeal, it is fitted with a rare dial carved from a solid block of Howlite, creating a fascinating contrast with its 18K gold case. Allied with a Rolex President bracelet reference 8385, the wristwatch was carefully cherished throughout the years and retains its punched original warranty stamped Uhren-Wallner as well as a service invoice from Bucherer dated 2015.
