Specialist note

The present ref. 1803 is a very well preserved representative of the famous model, featuring a bronze-colored “pie pan” dial with printed Arabic numerals to the outer 60 seconds ring.

In production between 1959 and 1977, ref. 1803 can be considered among the firms’ most successful gentlemen wristwatches. Powered by cal. 1555 (up to 1965) and 1556, it is defined by the ribbed bezel and the dial with stepped outer seconds track, rarely seen with Arabic numerals as on the present example.
