Decorated overall with chinoiserie vignettes with figures, trees and pavilions, the stop-fluted column surmounted by a scroll, above a slanted hollow frame and on a canted base with pedals, inscribed 'Bosch Rue Hon..re no 275', decoration refreshed

Specialist note

The superb crisp carving of this harp relates to that on a closely related example signed by Cousineau, now in the Victoria & Albert Museum (F. Watson, Louis XVI Furniture, London, 1960, p. 151, fig 229).
