The present watch is in mint condition, completely unused, still retaining the factory protecting seals on both the watch and clasp and the retail sales tags. This lot provides the perfect opportunity to obtain immediately this hard-to-get model.
Launched in 2015 to wide acclaim, the new 40 mm. “Everose” pink gold Yacht-Master reference 116655 and its 37 mm. counterpart reference 268655 were an instant success and have ever since been very difficult to obtain.
"Everose” is Rolex’s own special pink gold alloy which does not fade over time, it contains in addition to gold, copper, and a small amount of platinum, it is made in Rolex's own foundry.
Aficionados also appreciate the matte black dial and matte Cerachrom black bezel which gives the watch a unique appearance rarely found on modern sports watches. To complement the overall style a new form of rubber bracelet called the “Oysterflex” with titanium-nickel alloy core was developed especially for this model.
