Specialist note

Renowned for their rarity, diverse aesthetics and exceptional quality, Audemars Piguet’s first full calendar wristwatches with phases of the moon were sold as of 1924.

The present example is an exceedingly fine and rare representative of this “roaring twenties” production of complicated wristwatches. It captivates by its elegant design and excellent overall condition and is furthermore believed to be the only example of such watch with movable lugs known to exist to date - an epitome of Art Deco style, seen as elegant, functional and ultra-modern.
