Perhaps one of the most exciting stainless steel rectangular watches to freshly surface in recent years, this reference 521 is presented fresh to market in extraordinarily crisp condition. The dial retains a beautiful patina and the case is an absolute marvel of Art Deco design, with its stepped case and applied steel deco style numerals. Its untouched and clean condition underlines the importance of this timepiece.
The reference 521 was first launched in 1937 and the presently offered watch represents an example from this first year of production. Similar to the references 519, 520, and 522, the presently offered 521 also features the beautiful 9-90 caliber. This stainless steel 521 only represents the second known to have surfaced. With a steel case made by Wenger, this is a specimen example of a steel Patek Philippe from the late 1930s.
