Specialist note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with opaline-white dial and rose gold indexes in 1995 and its subsequent sale on March 14th of the following year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated September 1996.

Reference 3940 was launched in 1985 and replaced reference 3450 using the latest caliber 240. It remained in production until 2003. The present watch is from the second series which was produced for only 10 years between 1988 and 1998.
