Cal.1499.2 mechanical jewelled movement with two independent gear-trains, two engine-turned white dials with Arabic numerals combined with subsidiary seconds all screwed onto the pink gold dial plate, fan-form sector for power reserve, circular case, crown at 12 o'clock to adjust both time zones, crown at 4 o'clock to synchronize the seconds hands, glazed display back secured by six screws, 18k pink gold F.P. Journe deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

The Chronomètre à Résonance model was launched in 2000. It is one of the exceedingly rare wristwatches in the world based on resonance, a natural physical phenomenon. The two balances wheels are synchronized by means of the resonance effect and naturally beat alternately. The negative effects of wrist and body movements are hence considerably reduced.
