Decorated with green-ground gilt-edged trelliswork, reserved with two shaped quatrefoil panels enclosing vignettes of birds in landscape (restored chip to rim of stand, slight wear to gilding)
16.5 cm. (6½ in.) wide across handles

Specialist note

A two-handled cup, cover and stand with very decoration was sold by Christie's in New York, 'Vincennes and Sèvres Porcelain from a New England Collection' on 5 May 1999, lot 39.
Jean-Louis Morin was a painter of figures, birds, flowers, maritime and military scenes active at Vincennes and Sèvres from 1754 to 1787.
