With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with opaline-white dial and gold indexes in 2002 and its subsequent sale on 26 February 2002. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe winding box and outer packaging.

Reference 3940 was in production from 1985 to 2007. The company cased most of them in yellow gold, and a limited number in pink gold, white gold and platinum.
