Bombé oval and on spreading slightly domed foot, with shaped rim and with two drop ring handles, one a later brass replacement, the body later applied with strapwork on a matted ground and later engraved with foliage scrolls, surrounding portrait busts, later engraved on one side with an inscription, marked underneath, further later numbered and engraved with a scratchweight 'No 392 oz123 10'
