AN ART DECO DIAMOND NECKLACE
Designed as two rows of baguette and rectangular-cut diamonds, gathered by pavé-set diamond scrolling motifs to the side, to the baguette and rectangular-cut diamond neckline, 1930s, 44.0 cm, with French assay marks for platinum and gold

Specialist note

The mark JC in a rectangle is very similar to the one of Jacques Cartier. This mark was in use from approximately 1915 to 1945, and stamped on the jewels sold in the Cartier shop in London.
