Specialist note

Introduced to the market at the Basel Fair in 1956, the Day-Date has been one of Rolex's flagship models and enjoys continuous popularity. Symbol of luxury and prestige, the model was particularly appreciated by Middle Eastern clientele, resulting in watches featuring the emblem of the relevant state, often presented by the rulers as gifts or token of esteem.

The present platinum Ref. 1804 is most certainly a very attractive watch. The watch delights by its fine surround of 46 diamonds on the bezel and ten diamonds on the dial. This very nice timepiece is furthermore preserved in excellent overall condition.
