The first decorated in gold takamaki-e, togidashi-e and kirikane on a dense nashiji ground with a monk reading, the reverse with a squirrel amongst wisteria, dense nashiji and black lacquer interiors, fundame rims; and another of rectangular shape, decorated in gold and red takamaki-e and inlaid in mother-of-pearl depicting a scene of Ujigawa-senjin, dense nashiji interiors, fundame rims
