Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamond-set numerals in 1945 and its subsequent sale on March 8th of 1950.

Production of the famous Calatrava model of the reference 96 was launched in 1932. In 1982 it was replaced by the reference 3796. During this reference's fifty year history very few examples were made in platinum with diamond-set dials.
