L952.1 mechanical movement, 45 jewels, finely hand-engraved balance cock, screwed gold chatons, silvered matte dial, applied Roman and baton numerals, luminous hands, outer raised tachometer scale, large double date aperture, two subsidiary dials for day combined with constant seconds and day/night indicator, and month combined with 30 minute register and leap year indicator, fan form sector for moon phases, circular case, button in the band for date change, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, sapphire crystal display back secured by six screws, platinum A. Lange & Söhne buckle, case, dial, and movement signed

The Datograph Perpetual is A. Lange & Söhne's first wristwatch combining a chronograph and perpetual calendar. The watch features a flyback chronograph and precisely jumping minute counter that allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted instantaneously, as well as a perpetual calendar that remains accurate until the year 2100 when it has to be manually advanced by one day.
