PROBABLY BY FABERGÉ, CIRCA 1913
Circular, one side with a white enamel dial roulette wheel mounted in gold, the back enamelled with the polychrome image of a pig, within a rose-cut diamond-set border, with suspension loop, apparently unmarked; numbered below the loop '5251'

Specialist note

For a medal enamelled with a similar pig see exhibition catalogue, Fabergé 1846-1920, London, Victoria & Albert Museum, p. 107, no. 30. In 1913, on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Queen Sawabhapongse, the wife of King Rama VI of Siam, Fabergé created a number of medals enamelled with one or two pigs representing the Year of the Pig. Recipients of the medal, who were born in the Year of the Pig, were presented with medals depicting two pigs; while others were given medals enamelled with just one pig.
