With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1963 and its subsequent sale on 8 April 1963. Furthermore delivered with a Patek Philippe slip case.

The present lot is fresh to the market.

The large Calatrava model reference 570 was introduced to the market in 1938, featuring either subsidiary or sweep centre seconds. It was available in stainless steel, yellow, pink and white gold, including platinum.

Its simplicity and elegance in design renders it one of the most attractive vintage "time only" wristwatches from the Patek Philippe production.
