Four dressing-tables of this model were supplied in 1811 to Richard Gascoigne for Parlington Hall, Aberford by Gillows, two of which were sold anonymously, Christie's, London, 10 July 2003, lots 86 and 87. Each was signed by a Gillows craftsman: J. Dixon and Thomas Myers, respectively. One of the other dressing-tables supplied to Mr Gascoigne (stamped 'GILLOWS LANCASTER') is now at Leeds City Art Galleries, Lotherton Hall, Leeds (C. Gilbert, Furniture at Temple Newsam House and Lotherton Hall, Leeds, 1789, vol. II, p. 376 and 501).
