Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with lapis lazuli dial in 1976 and its subsequent sale on 21 October 1976. The Extract further confirms the yellow gold bracelet and that there are 136 diamonds on the watch with a total 2.96 carats.

The present watch delights by its elegant oval form framed by a large diamond-set bezel with decorative claws and is one of only three such watches known to have appeared at auction so far.

Reference 4308 was launched around 1976 and was made for a very short period only.
