An early edition of Goeurot's popular medical treatise, which places particular emphasis on diet to prevent plague, maintain good health, etc. Because various early editions are undated there is uncertainty about when the first edition was published, but it was probably at Troyes c.1524. All the early editions are rare. ABPC records just one, published ca. 1540, sold by Christie's in 1996 for £1200 hammer. This edition not in Wellcome, Durling, or G & M.
