Of oval outline, the removable cover above a pierced scrolling foliate frieze flanked by serpent handles on naturalistically modelled claw supports and plinth base, restorations to the cover, the beading partially detached
6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high; 10 in. (25.5 cm.) wide; 5 3/8 in. (13.6 cm.) deep

Henry Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood (1882-1947) when styled Viscount Lascelles at Chesterfield House, London and subsequently moved to Harewood House Yorkshire and by descent.
