57 table forks (and a further two with an integral steel blade fitted to the fourth tine), 18 dessert spoons, 28 dessert forks, 31 tablespoons, 10 teaspoons, 6 salt spoons, 3 egg spoons, 2 soup ladles, 6 basting spoons, 7 sauce ladles, 2 sugar sifters of graduated sizes, an asparagus server, a fish slice and a Stilton scoop; together with 11 cheese and 18 dinner knives, a four piece carving set and four meat forks, various dates and makers, all with steel blades and filled handles; a silver-gilt dessert service comprising ten each of dessert spoons, forks and knives, the latter with silver-gilt blades, a sauce ladle, a sugar sifter, grape scissors and six serving spoons with scalloped bowls; a further 17 dessert knives by Moses Brent, London, 1814, with filled silver-gilt handles and steel blades; all variously engraved, most with the crest of Raglan within motto scroll

Specialist note
The two forks each fitted with an integral steel blade to the fourth tine were made especially for Lord FitzRoy Somerset, later 1st Lord Raglan, so that he could eat one-handed (having had his right arm amptutated after Waterloo).
