Specialist note

The gowns were made for Elizabeth Taylor as Leonora in the 1968 Universal Pictures production Secret Ceremony. Similar gowns are visible in two scenes during the sinister thriller, where Elizabeth Taylor and Mia Farrow, who plays Cenci, begin a dependable friendship following the deaths of Leonora's daughter and Cenci's mother.
