Specialist note

The evening jacket was worn to the 17th Annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards held on February 8, 1998.
Karl Lagerfeld began designing for Tiziani in 1963 and designed for the company until 1969. It is possible that the fashion house came to Miss Taylor's attention during the filming of Cleopatra in Rome, though her interest is said to have begun in 1966.
