A collection of six line drawings executed at Live 8 July 2nd 05 portraying artists who performed that day; individually titled in Blake's hand 'U2', 'Elton John', 'REM Pete Docherty (sic) Bob Geldof', 'Elton John' & 'Pete Docherty' (sic) and 'Pete Docherty' (sic), black ink on white card - all 8¼x9¼in. (21x23.5cm.) and Mariah Carey + African Childrens Choir, black ink on note paper -- 4x5¾in. (10x14cm.) (6)

Specialist note

Blake designed the sleeve artwork for the 1984 Band Aid single, "Do They Know It's Christmas?". The work was subsequently released as a limited edition print, signed by Bob Geldof and the artist, to raise more funds for the charity.
