Cal. 1570 nickel-finished lever movement, 26 jewels, mono-metallic balance, black dial, luminescent baton, disc and triangular numerals, luminescent Mercedes-style hands, magnified date aperture, center seconds, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, coin edge bi-directional black bezel calibrated to 60 units, screw down crown, case, dial and movement signed
39mm diam.

Specialist note

Rolex began production of the Submariner with date in 1969 and continued until 1979. The model was made in both stainless steel and gold verisons.
