ANTONI GAUDÍ (1852-1926), attributed
WALL MIRROR, CIRCA 1905
gilt wood, mirror glass
40½ in. (103 cm.) high; 21 in. (54 cm.) wide

Note du spécialiste

The naturalistic rock-work design of the mirror's frame is reminiscent of Gaudí's commission for La Casa Milà, where the architect drew inspiration from the rock formations of the Holy mountain of Montserrat, just outside Barcelona.
