With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1994 and its subsequent sale on November 18th of the same year.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 3878 from 1981 until approximately 2007. This timepiece is the only self-winding skeletonized wristwatch produced by Patek Philippe. To date it is only known to have been produced in yellow gold.
