With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1953 and its subsequent sale on November 16th of the same year.
Patek Philippe produced the reference 1593 from circa 1944 to 1967. The elegant look of the case stands as a milestone in the history of wristwatch design. The caliber 9-90 was used by the firm from the 1930s until the late 1960s and is included in many of their finest rectangular wristwatches. Patek Philippe made this model in yellow, white, pink gold and platinum.
