Robert Hills, O.W.S. (1769-1844)

Leonard Duke (1890-1971) was an avid collector of Golden Age British watercolours. During his lifetime he gave away many works on paper, and the remains of his substantial collection, of which there was still a great deal, was offered in 1351 lots over seven sales at Sotheby's between 1970-1971.
