Cal. 9 ''' gilt-finished cylinder movement, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, gilt outer beady minute divisions, circular case, the front with finely chased, green enamel and ruby and diamond-set floral decoration in high relief, chased back and band, trefoil-shaped bow, matching openwork gold, ruby and pearl-set floral decorated brooch, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

According to the Archives of Girard-Perregaux, the manufacture of the present hunter case watch can be dated to a period between 1908 and 1911.

The present pendant watch is a typical and highly attractive example for the Art Nouveau style, characterized by the curvilinear depiction of leaves and flowers, foliate forms and sinuous lines.
