Painted with the Vogelbaum pattern, with three birds on a prunus and camellia branch and with scattered insects, within a Sulkowski ozier-moulded border with indianische Blumen (some very slight wear)

Specialist note

The design was probably derived from drawings of birds perched on flowering branches attributed to J.G. Höroldt, see the Schulz Codex, Vol. I., pls. XV and XVI, figs. 158-179.
