Cal. 315 S QR nickel-finished lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 31 jewels, free-sprung gyromax balance, 21k gold rotor, glazed dust cover, white matte dial, Roman numerals, arched sector for the retrograde date, three apertures for leap year, day and month, aperture for moon phases, circular case, hinged back, extended screw-set lugs, case, dial and movement signed, 18k white gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp

Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1999 and its subsequent sale on June 29th of the same year. Further accompanied by an undated Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, leather battery operated winding presentation box and leather envelope.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5059 in 1998 and discontinued the model in 2006 when it was replaced with the larger size reference 5159. The reference 5059 was produced in yellow, white and rose gold as well as platinum.
