UN-97 finely engraved nickel-finished lever movement, 33 jewels, the rotor pierced and engraved with Ulysse Nardin logo, two-tone silvered and grey dial with analogical and perpetual representation of the Gregorian calendar, solar hand indicating solar hour, sunrise, sunset, dawn and dusk, indication for month, day, zodiac sign, location of the sun, equinox and solstice, cardinal points and temporal hours, moon hand indication of the rise and setting of the moon, moon phases, lunar position, blued steel dragon hand indicating solar and lunar eclipses, circular case, hooded lugs, bezel with inlaid black enamel Roman numerals and Arabic 24 hours indication, back secured by four screws, 18K gold Ulysse Nardin buckle, case, dial and movement signed

With Ulysse Nardin original Certificate dated February 2000, instruction manual, Astrolabium Galileo Galilei wooden box with electrical winding facility, set within the original fitted two-tier marine chronometer-style wooden outer box with leather strap.

According to the Archives of Ulysse Nardin, the present watch was produced in 2000.

The Astrolabium Galileo Galilei, named after the great physicist, astronomer and humanist, was introduced into the market in 1985. This astronomical wristwatch indicates the position of the sun, moon and stars at any given hour as seen from earth. It also shows sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, moon phases, solar and lunar eclipses, the month and the day of the week.
