Cal. 3612 nickel-finished lever movement, 38 jewels, double column wheel co-axial escapement with free sprung balance, black dial, applied stainless steel baton numerals, luminous lozenge-shaped hands, red-tipped split seconds hands, eccentric aperture for date, three engine-turned sunk silvered subsidiary dials for constant seconds on two arched 30 second scales with two blued steel hands, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers with applied stainless steel Roman numerals, large circular water-resistant-type case with stepped, fluted lugs, glazed display screw back, three round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Omega deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

The present model incorporates a co-axial escapement, invented by the contemporary horologist George Daniels. Its design is based on the double Co-Axial escape wheel, a lever with three pallet stones and impulse stone on the balance roller, together with a free sprung balance. Compared with the lever escapement, the Co-Axial system reduces sliding friction and consequently ensures greater accuracy over time.
