Finely painted with a kneeling Neapolitan beauty holding a child before a baptismal font, a rosary in her left hand

Specialist note

Hippolyte-Henri Jobard, called Job, and his sister Clémence-Jeanne were both known to have painted on ceramics and to have exhibited at the annual Paris Solons, circa 1878-1880.
