ONE LOUIS XVI, LATE 18TH CENTURY, THE OTHER 19TH CENTURY
Each with a laurel-carved medallion back, padded arms, seat and squab cushion covered with floral tapestry, the foliate-wrapped and piastre-carved arm supports, above square-tapering and stop-fluted legs, the Louis XVI bergere with two paper labels inscribed '6 [91]' and '32' respectively, further inscribed 'SB', the other with corresponding labels inscribed '7 [91] and remains of another, further inscribed 'SB', variations to the tapestry covers
37¾ in. (96 cm.) and 37¼ in. (94.5 cm.) high, respectively; 25½ in. (64.5 cm.) wide; 22½ in. (57 cm.) deep
