Modelled by J.J. Kändler, as a male and a female musician respectively, each playing the hurdy gurdy and resting on a naturalistic rocaille base, flanked by two scrolled branches decorated with porcelain flowerheads and issuing petal-shaped drip-pans, one candelabrum lacking removable bobèches, numbered to the underside '22' and '23' respectively, the male figure possibly replaced and Samson porcelain
