Ferguson (1874 - 1938), the pinned-on silver mounts of acanthus leaf and trefoil form centred by an oval cartouche, the front engraved with the arms of Ferguson, the back with vacant cartouche, the inside of the clasps later engraved with a motto ribbon and inscription
