Specialist note

The body of the Hawaiian X is made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate), which utilizes photo laminating technology to reproduce the Koa wood grain on the back and sides and art work by cartoonist Robert Armstrong on the top. It is notable that the seated individual consuming the pupu platter bears a resemblance to Martin's CEO Christian F. Martin IV.
