Each of rectangular shape, the mirror plates bordered by stepped moulding, the silver-gilt panels mounted with ribbon-tied and laurel framed oval cabochon reserves to the sides, and wrapping scrolling cartouches centred by further oval cabochons issuing laurel swags to upper and lower panels, with outer moulding, the reverse with oak construction, date letter F for 1776 and maker's mark for François-Joseph Baudoux, Lille, one mirror lacking its wooden back panel
