Painted in yellow, ochre, manganese, blue and green, the ill-fated couple flanking the green-trunked tree with manganese-striped yellow fruits and with a spotted serpent about its boughs, flanked by two two-tiered trees, on a striped green and yellow mound, the footrim pierced for hanging, the underside with a buff slip and lead glaze, some very slight flaking to rim and a small chip to the underside of the rim at 4 o'clock
