Specialist note

The present reference 5508 is from the series launched in the late 1950s, the signature and scales printed in gilt but with the addition of the white printed depth rating "100m=330ft". It is furthermore preserved in beautiful original condition.

The most noteworthy feature is the so-called "exclamation" dial, characterized by an additional luminous dot positioned underneath the 6 o'clock hour marker. These dials were in production for an extremely short period only and in such excellent condition represent true value for the avid collector.
